Crop Image into a Circle
Round profile pictures are everywhere, but most editors only cut rectangles. This tool center-crops your photo to a perfect circle and exports a PNG with a genuinely transparent background — so it drops cleanly onto any design, document, or website without a white box around it.
100% private — this tool runs in your browser. Your image is never uploaded to any server.

Frequently asked questions
How do I make a circular profile picture?
Upload any photo above — the tool crops the largest centered circle from it and downloads a transparent PNG. Upload that to platforms that show square avatars too; the subject stays perfectly centered.
Will the background really be transparent?
Yes — the area outside the circle is true alpha transparency, not white. The checkered pattern in the preview shows the transparent region. Keep the file as PNG; converting to JPG would fill it with white.
Can I choose which part of the image is inside the circle?
The crop is centered, so position your subject in the middle of the source photo first — a quick center-crop with our resize tool works if the subject is off to one side.
